Talascend is currently seeking a Tooling Specialist for a contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgian

SUMMARY:

The Tooling Coordinator will be responsible to maintain, coordinate, update records, visual inspection, and coordinate shipping to the tooling of warehouse. Tooling Coordinator will update the company databases as appropriate ensuring accurate materials and tooling status. n

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Counting, Inspection and Testing of simple and complex tooling and suppliesn
o Wrenches, Sockets, Drill Bits, Taps & Diesn
o Electrical Tools, Hydraulic Tools, Pneumatic Toolsn
* Counting of tooling and supplies against a list and keying results into Microsoft Excel or other computer systemsn
* Inspecting tooling for damage, cracks, sharpness, functionality. Scrapping bad tools and recording loss in Excel or computer systemsn
* Testing tools for functional acceptancen
* Verifying counts for accuracy before ordering materialsn
* Restocking tool kits in orderly way. Returning counted and ordered tools and supplies to their proper place within the tool kitn
* Document Inspections in tracking systemsn
* Maintain housekeeping of Warehouse to meet EHS standards.n
* Maintenance records for kits that have been processed.n
* Ensuring that kits are delivered with no quality concernsn
* Perform other duties as assignedn
* Ability and willingness to work overtime as requiredn

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to apply Safe working habitsn
* Working knowledge of hand and mechanical toolingn
* Attention to detailn
* Ability to focus on repetitive tasksn
* Working knowledge of computer and systems including MS Exceln
* 2 Years or of some mechanical activitiesn
* Must be able to read and interpret technical manualsn
* Strong team player attitude; maintain flexibility within the changing business prioritiesn
* Highly customer focusedn
* Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skillsn
* Strong organizational skillsn
* Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environmentn
* Studies manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.n
* Familiar with hoisting/rigging equipment, hand tools, and power tools.n
* Must be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine maintenance needed which includes determining the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete a job.n
* Must have the ability to troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and the solutions to resolve the issues.n
* Must have the ability to conduct tests and inspect products or processes and evaluate the quality of repairsn
