Talent and Engagement Partner 

 

The Talent and Engagement Partner for Accelo will perform a variety of specialized, complex and confidential functions of the People Operations department which include, but not limited to, attracting talent and interviewing, on-boarding and off-boarding, employee engagement and retention and help create and enforce company policies and practices.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implements new hire orientation and onboarding experience. Owns new hire orientation, onboarding and offboarding. 
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave and talent management.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Provide support to management throughout employee retention efforts 
  • Reviews, processes and provides assistance in the completion of human resources forms and related documents for compliance with applicable procedures and policies.
  • Have autonomy over your work all while being a part of a supportive, light-hearted and social team
  • Partner with the Director of People Operations based in Australia to develop an attraction strategy for US and AU vacancies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

In the short term, you will:

 

  • Meet with hiring managers to learn about their department and their hiring needs
  • Support People Operations initiatives such as onboarding new hires, employee changes and event planning.
  • Become the office master in Denver, building strong relationships with our people, learning our processes and leading the charge with engaging and collaborative events.

 

In the long term, you will:

  • Be a trusted resource for employee questions with the discretion on when to escalate issues to other members of the People team.

 

  • Support full-cycle employee administration, including but not limited to, onboarding and offboarding, asset management, engagement surveys, compliance training, benefits and payroll administration.
  • Own, iterate on, plan and execute all aspects of our company-wide annual Summer Bash conference.
  • Maintain accuracy of HRIS data, People Ops files, organization charts, and other data integrity initiatives.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement; create efficiencies through understanding system capabilities, employee needs, and streamlining processes.
  • Be a culture champion by supporting DEI initiatives, weekly/monthly events, and helping create content to share our internal best practices.

  • The ability to work both as part of a collaborative team as well be a self-starter
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders and candidates at all levels

  • We are a global team distributed across the US, Philippines, and Australia. We support a hybrid work model where you are empowered to work where is best for you, however, we encourage designated in-office time weekly to build real human connections amongst teammates. 
  • For this role, we ask that you live in the Denver region with an option to work from home 2 days a week.

Salary range: $65-72k
