Job Description

We at Sookshum Labs Technologies Private Limited are looking for an HR Manager to join our Human Resources department. Responsibilities will include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies and achieving objectives laid out by the management. You will also help shape our employer brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience as HR Executive/Manager in an IT company, and you must be familiar with the latest HR software tools and technologies, including payroll systems, HRMS and Applicant Tracking systems. Ultimately, you will ensure our company attracts, hires, develops and retains qualified talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and optimizing recruitment processes.
  • Reviewing resumes and applications.
  • Conducting recruitment interviews and providing the necessary inputs during the hiring process.
  • Working with recruitment agencies to source for candidates for specific job positions if required.
  • Maintaining HR records using HRMS.
  • Maintaining Applicant's records using ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Training new or existing employees.
  • Terminating staff.
  • Researching, creating and revising HR policies as per the direction of management.
  • Communicating and explaining the organisation's HR policies to the employees.
  • Maintaining payroll records using the Payroll management system.
  • Handling the full and final settlement of the employees.
  • Conducting various welfare activities.
  • Regular updating of communication channels.
  • Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement of employees in consultation with the management.
  • Ensuring statutory compliances.
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
  • Preparing documentation and processing timely distribution of offers, confirmation, salary, bonus, full and final settlements etc.
  • Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality.
  • Conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities.
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the master database (personal file, personal database, etc.) of each employee in HRMS.
  • Resolving grievances or queries of the employees.
  • Escalating to the right level depending on the nature of the grievance or issue.
  • Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly.
  • Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers.
  • Engaging with employees on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the organisation.

Requirements

Skills:

  • Must have core IT recruitment experience in the IT industry (corporate).
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills for effective communication.
  • Must have an experience of working on job portals like Indeed, Naukri, Monster etc.
  • Must have experience in IT hiring from professional social media channels, i.e. LinkedIn.
  • Must be very good at searching candidate profiles from various sources as per the requirement.
  • Must be very good at screening the profiles as per requirement.
  • Must have good experience in salary negotiation and releasing offer letters.
  • Must have knowledge of HRMS and ATS (Applicant Tracking System). (Preferably Zoho HR tools)

Education:

  • MBA in HR

Minimum Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in an IT company.
