We are creating a remarkable journey for all of our team members which includes facilitating their continuous growth through the addition of a dynamic Director, Organizational Development & Learning. In this role, you will lead coaching and development initiatives to improve our organization as well as implement professional development and career pathing strategies. This position serves as a trusted strategic partner to all team members and people managers, delivering leading-edge advisory services related to the alignment of resources, roles and responsibilities that all add value to and successfully support HealthVerity’s business strategy.

Please note: Candidates must be based within reasonable traveling distance to the Greater Philadelphia area to allow for in-office collaboration on a regular basis.

What you will do

• Lead the Organizational Development & Learning team at HealthVerity

• Build the strategy, tools and rollout for career development planning, mentorship program design, and partner with team members to implement, design and deliver new leader integration support

• Responsible for the delivery of internally developed and/or externally sourced development programs for team members including leadership training, team building events and educational programming

• Support performance management by embedding best practices across the business in areas such as coaching, goal setting, feedback, development opportunities and succession planning

• Design and develop a career path strategy, methodologies and tools to enable mobility for team members across the organization

• Develop the functional and leadership skills/competencies required for all jobs and build developmental/promotional opportunities within job families and functional areas

• Direct the needs assessment for training and professional development to enhance the effectiveness of performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company

• Lead the implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members

• Provide advice and counsel on organizational and team effectiveness-related issues

• Analyze the impact of existing programs and combine those insights with the latest thinking in organizational science to help our team members perform effectively  

Desired skills and experience

• Experience in organizational development-related efforts, including but not limited to executive coaching, devising development plans, personality-based coaching, leadership development and team-building

• Skillful facilitator of team problem-solving and decision making

• Ability to establish and maintain trust with all stakeholders

• People management skills to lead your team

• Highly developed consultative, facilitation, project management and presentation skills

• Ability to positively influence at all levels within the organization to drive change

• Strong digital and creative skills to create professional products and presentations

• Working knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and programming

• Able to deliver independently and take the lead on initiatives
