The Opportunity:

Our mandate within the Growth Group of OfferZen is to engage and grow our community of developers and companies by engaging them with valuable tech career content, events, reports, and tools. 

As a Content Marketing Writer, you'll play a crucial role in creating guides and using case content to help our audiences win at tech hiring and getting a job in tech. In addition, you will be working with different stakeholders (both internal and external) to plan, create and distribute content.

What you'll do:

You will work closely with the Content Team Manager and the rest of the content team (including freelancers) to create relevant, high-quality content. You will interview internal and external experts to gain insight and inform your content, as well as do research to create world-class content about tech hiring and finding a job in tech.

What success in this role looks like:

  • We're publishing high-quality content at a high cadence.
  • Both sides of our market (company members and software developers) are provided with comprehensive content to succeed at tech hiring and getting a job in tech.
  • Our in-house expertise, platform and community-driven data are leveraged to create more impactful content.
  • We have tight feedback loops with the content planning, marketing, ops and marketplace insights teams to iteratively improve conversion.

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • 4+ years experience in content marketing, journalism or similar field.
  • Communication skills – excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in editing and interviewing.
  • Good understanding of life-cycle marketing – you understand user journeys.
  • Interested in the tech and recruitment industries.
  • Structured and process-oriented – you ensure that you are adequately prepared for each stakeholder interaction (internal and external). and can work in a process-driven manner.
  • Experience in a (tech-focused) startup is a plus.
